Summer 2019 Accelerator Applications Open: $800,000 of Investment Capital Immediately Available

Applications for all accelerator programs are now open! In the next 90 days, we are looking for up to 16 teams across programs to invest $50,000. Each accelerator will happen during the Summer of Acceleration, presented by Memphis entrepreneurial partners Epicenter, Start Co., and Memphis Bioworks Foundation. The Summer of Acceleration is a 100-day intensive, hands-on educational program that speeds the development of high-tech, high-growth startup companies, focused on four regional industries of strength: Home Services, Medical Device, Logistics, and Civic Technology. Startups receive unprecedented business and technical assistance that continues well beyond the 100 day programs. Applications close March 15th! Home Services Technology

The world’s first and only home services technology startup investment platform is powered by ServiceMaster.  Launch Delta targets technology-based startup companies working to disrupt or replace existing home services. We are actively seeking new home services technology startups including on-demand services, smart home tech, IoT, sensors, new service and delivery mechanisms, smart pest control, drone technology and all other innovations that relates to managing and operating a home.

Innovations in transportation, safety, buildings, healthcare, and urban development will all be considered.

 

Logistics Technology

Memphis is where road, river, and rail converge to form the epicenter of American logistics. Start Co. and Epicenter come together to support and develop technologies that solve problems in the logistics industry. Sparkgap is looking for unique, innovative logistics technology startups that are creating products related to intelligent packaging, supply chain visibility, data analytics and data access. Logistics innovation teams have access to a supply chain executive in residence, and a logistics advisory council of Memphis area executives, thought leaders and practitioners representing the packaging and logistics industry.

 

Medical Device

The ZeroTo510 Medical Device Accelerator is a first-in-kind entrepreneurial accelerator program that focuses on leveraging key regional strengths of the Memphis area: biomedical research and medical device manufacturing.  The goal of ZeroTo510 is to help medical device startups navigate the startup process, refine their business models and complete the Food and Drug Administration’s 510(k) premarket notification filing.
